Education at MVEM

Strong roots,
open skies.

A core curriculum and a wider one, Nursery to Std X — drawing out the inborn talent in every child, from an early age.

The three stages

From first words to board exams.

We don’t just teach subjects. We nurture the child — intellect, character and the confidence to meet whatever comes next.

  1. Pre-primary children at play in the sand pit

    Stage 01 · Ages 3–5

    Foundational Stage

Nursery · Jr. KG · Sr. KG

Where wonder begins. A play-rich, story-led world that builds language, motor skills and the confidence to explore.

    • Activity & play-based learning
    • Phonics & early numeracy
    • Story-telling & rhymes

  2. A class at their desks, the teacher at the board

    Stage 02 · Ages 6–10

    Preparatory Stage

    Std I – IV

Foundations that hold. Reading fluency, number sense and a love of discovery — supported by Abacus and e-learning.

How we teach

Taught to explore, question and own it.

English

Literature-led — classics, novels, plays and poetry as the springboard into wider writing.

Maths & Science

Built on practical, real-world scenarios, with a hands-on science lesson every single week.

Languages

Fluency in a second and third language — while staying proud of the mother tongue and one's roots.

Humanities & PE

Geography, History & PE through investigation — students test thinking and own their learning.

The MVEM edge

Rigour, character, and readiness for the world.

  1. 01

    Intellect

A State Board foundation enriched with a CBSE-pattern approach to Mathematics & Science — rigour with curiosity.

  2. 02

    Character

Values at the core: empathy, discipline and integrity, woven into everyday school life, not taught as an afterthought.

  3. 03

    Future-readiness

Abacus, e-learning, smart classrooms and continuous teacher training prepare children for a world that keeps changing.

Beyond the syllabus

Where every talent finds room to grow.

  • Abacus
  • E-learning
  • Music
  • Skating
  • Taekwondo
  • Art & craft
  • Olympiads
  • Sports
  • Elocution
  • Career counselling

The new-age curriculum

Ready for the world they will actually enter.

A State Board foundation, taught the way the National Education Policy asks for — with the five things a child leaving Std X in this decade cannot afford to have missed.

  1. Value Education

Values taught on the timetable and lived in the corridor — empathy, honesty, respect and responsibility, from Nursery upward. The oldest part of an MVEM education, and still the part parents mention first.

  2. Robotic Automation

In the school's robotics lab children build machines that actually move — sensors, motors and the logic that joins them. Engineering learnt the only way it sticks: by making something work.

  3. Artificial Intelligence

What AI is, how it learns, and where it gets things confidently wrong. Children who grow up questioning it will use it far better than children taught to be impressed by it.

  4. Financial Literacy

Saving, budgeting, interest, and what borrowing really costs. The arithmetic every adult needs and almost none of us were taught at school.

  5. Vocational Education

Hands-on skill alongside the syllabus, as the NEP intends — real tools, real making, and the understanding that skilled work is something to be proud of.

The campus

Room to think.

Smart digital classrooms, a 56-seat computer lab, science labs and two large sports grounds — in the heart of Kothrud, Pune.
