The Maheshwari Vidya Pracharak Mandal is founded — a charitable trust establishing schools, hostels and Bal-⁠Bhavans across Maharashtra, with learning at its very heart.

The School
Forty children walk in.
Mahesh Vidyalaya English Medium opens its doors with just forty children — soon bringing a CBSE-⁠pattern edge in Maths & Science, Abacus, e-⁠learning and structured teacher training.

A thousand lights.
Under Principal Mrs. Ashwini Mujumdar, MVEM is now a family of over a thousand — affiliated to the State Board, Pune, and a recognised Hindi Linguistic Minority Institution.

Safe, and known

A child learns nothing in a place they don’t feel safe.

Ours is a single campus in Kothrud, small enough that the adults know the children by name. Every teacher and member of staff is published on this website, with their photograph — so you know exactly who your child spends the day with.

The gate

Staffed through school hours, and every visitor signs in before they come in.

Cameras

CCTV covers the entrances, the corridors and the open ground.

On site

Trained first aid, and fire-⁠safety equipment through the building.

Home time

No child leaves with anyone who is not on their guardian list.

We follow the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, and any concern a child or a parent raises goes to the Principal directly.

We photograph school life — assemblies, sports days, the ordinary good days — and some of those pictures appear here. If you would rather your child’s photograph did not, tell the office and we will take it down.
